Moana Project Space presents Silver Age as part of the 2020 iteration of Spring 2020 art fair, featuring new works produced by emerging Perth-based artists and recent expatriates: Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Dale Buckley, Dan McCabe, Consuelo Cavaniglia, Benjamin Forster, Georgia Kaw, and Alistair Rowe.

Silver Age is an exhibition of video, glass, ceramics, chrome, plastics, mirrors and concrete which explores the art object as incidental readymade, irreverent idol, and as failed monument.

It’s an exhibition of immaterial things, transparent things, reproducible things, and discarded things re-presented as speculative investment opportunities – where artists interperet packing materials, plinths, microprocessor noise and transparent panes of glass as objects of value and power.

Silver Age is a show about being in an art fair, and about what art fairs to do art.
